Dear Year 6 and Year 5 Parents/Carers,

You may already be starting to think about what secondary school will be the right choice for your son/daughter when the time comes. Therefore, I am delighted to have this opportunity to extend an invitation for you to attend our Open Evening on Wednesday 30^th September 2026.

The school will be open from 5.30 pm – 8.00 pm with two opportunities to listen to a presentation from our new Headteacher, Mr Cook at 5.30 pm and 6.30 pm.

There will be a wide range of interactive activities in all areas of the school to give you and your child a feel for student life here at Oakwood School. We will have staff available in departments and around the school to answer any questions you may have. There will also be student leaders and volunteers to help guide you around the school.

I do hope that you will be able to join us on the 30^th September to learn more about our school from our staff and students.
